The brave lad Krishna, overpowering deadly snake Kalia. Made in heavy shining brass. 

Kaliya was the name of a poisonous Naga living in the Yamuna River, in Vrindavan. Kalia had terrorized the villagers and Krishna was assigned to tame him. In the tussle that happened between Krishna and Kalia, Krishna emerged winner and he stood dancing on the hood of the snake. The Snake acquired the feet impressions of the Lord as a mark of servility. 

Lord Krishna is the eighth incarnation of Shri Vishnu, the protector and preserver of this universe. Krishna always protects His devotees and they always rely on. Him to protect them and to give them His mercy.
