About Lord Kuber Homa | Significance of Kubera Pooja

Kubera is the Lord of Wealth and the god-king of the semi-divine Yakshas. He is regarded as the ruler of the North direction and a protector of the world hence he is also renowned as Lokpala. Kubera is the son of Visrava and is the grandson of Brahma, the Creator. Kuber is a devotee of Lord Shiva and after an austere penance, pleased with his devotion, Lord Shiva made him the Lord of wealth. Kubera is the trustee of all wealth and food grains but is not the originator of wealth. He is the distributor of wealth. The originator of wealth is Goddess Laxmi. He is extolled as the owner of the treasures of the world. According to Lord Kubera’s iconography, He is portrayed as a dwarf and is known to have a complexion of Lotus leaves. He has a big pot belly and is depicted having three legs, eight teeth and one eye. He is portrayed adorning a lot of jewels and is known to carry a mongoose and sometimes is depicted riding a man. He holds a mace, a pomegranate and a money bag in His hands. Further His iconography also portrays His wife Riddhi sitting on His left lap. She is seen placing Her left hand on Kuberas back and Her right hand is seen holding a pot filled with jewels.

Charity, Donation & Dakshina Performed After Kuber Puja

After completion of all puja rituals certain items are donated by Rudra Centre Puja Services on behalf of the Yajman/Participant of the Puja as per Hindu Shastras. Kuber Yantra: Yantras are geometric representation of deities. This yantra can be kept in your purse/wallet/laptop bag/drawer/cash box/puja altar. The best direction for the yantra will be North East Facing South West
7 Mukhi Rudraksha: 7 mukhi blesses the yajman with protection & peace. This can be worn on the right hand as a bracelet for best results. You can get in touch with RRST therapist for guidance
Silver Tabeez: This amulet consists of Kuber puja mantra written on Bhojpatra which was energized in the puja. It can be worn in the neck
Molly Thread: This Holy thread can be tied on the right hand
Dry Fruits Prasad: These were offered to Lord Kubera during the puja and can be consumed by the Yajman/Participant
Puja Coins: Puja coin of Ganesh, Laxmi & Saraswati will be sent which can be kept in your purse/wallet/laptop bag/drawer/cash box/puja alter and blesses the yajman/participant with prosperity & luck

The below mentioned instructions are just suggestions to attune to the puja, however due to hectic/busy lifestyle one may not be able to follow all the suggestions mentioned below and it is completely okay you will still receive the benefits of the puja

Have a Bath & Wear Clean Clothes Before the Puja
Avoid Eating Spicy Foods, Onion, Garlic, Non-Vegetarian on the day(s) of the puja. 
Be in Meditative Mode. Try to minimize distractions
