Breathtakingly beautiful Mural of Neelkantha Shiva. Hand made by skilled artisans.

Shiva is "The Auspicious One". He is the creator as well as the destroyer. He destroys evil and negativity to create Goodness. He is the protector of all the living beings who annihilates their sins to give them Moksha. He is omnipresent and resides in everyone as pure consciousness.

This magnificent Mural represents Him drinking the Poison Halahala which emerged during Churning of the Ocean. During churning by the Devas and Asuras for the divine Nectar of immortality, Fourteen Ratnas (gems or treasures) emerged which included three categories of Goddesses Lakshmi, Apsaras and Varuni, 3 types of Supernatural animals and 3 Valuables in addition to Moon, Dhanvantri, conch and Tulasi. Also what emerged from the churning was a dangerous poison (Halahala). This terrified the gods and demons because the poison was so toxic that it might have destroyed all of creation. On the advice of Vishnu, the gods approached Shiva for help and protection. Out of compassion for living beings, Bholenath Shiva swallowed the poison in an act of self-sacrifice. However, his consort Parvati who was looking on, terrified at the thought of his impending death, prevented the poison from descending into his body. Thus the poison was stuck in Shiva's throat with nowhere to go, and it was so potent that it changed the color of Shiva's neck to blue. For this reason, he is also called Neelkantha (the blue-throated one; "neela" = "blue", "kantha" = "throat" in Sanskrit).

Lord Shiva face is beautifully portrayed in this Mural and high quality five mukhis Rudraksha beads adorn His Mat, neck and hands. Mural depicts generation of rare treasures and destruction of evil by divine grace. This will adorn your home, office and altar and connect you with Supreme consciousness.

This would be sent with wooden frame. It is made is C-forex which is unbreakable and easily washable.

Placement:

The ideal place to keep a god idol is on a dedicated altar for prominence and respect, in a peaceful corner of the living room for daily worship and contemplation, or on a work desk or near the entrance of home/office for spiritual inspiration.
