Dus Dikpala are ten Demi-Gods that rule the ten directions or space in Hinduism and also Vajrayana Buddhism. There is a group of eight Deities who are called Asta-Dikpala which means guardians of eight directions, which are then often accompanied by two more Deities completing the Dasa Dikpala. Thus often images representing a particular Deity of Dus Dikpala is placed in a particular direction. Dus Dikpala are worshipped for success, protection and prosperity. Dus Dikpala puja symbolizes cumulative energies of ten ruling deities of 10 different directions that can bless devotees with immense protection from all kind of miseries and dangers. Mantra:
