    Siddhivinayak Ganesh is the third among Ashtavinayak .In this Idol, the trunk of Lord Ganesha is turned right, so a name Siddhivinayak is given, meaning the giver of shakti or siddhi. This form of Ganpati is considered very dynamic.

    It is believed that it was on the Siddhtek Mountain, where Vishnu acquired Siddhi. Another belief is that the creator of the Vedas, Ved Vyas, also meditated here before authoring the Vedas, thus pleasing Ganesh. Then Vishnu created a temple on that hill where he got his wish and placed the statue of Gajanan and this form was worshipped as Siddhivinayak meaning Grantor of wishes.
