Lord Garuda - the Vahana of Lord Vishnu

This brass idol depicts Garuda with folded hands seated on a round dais with floral pattern. He is adorning a mukut (crown), jewels and coiling a snake around His neck. The neat carving reflecting the humility on Garud's face beautifully displays Garud's devotion to serve His Lord - Maha Vishnu. The wings and folds of clothing have been neatly carved. His slightly open wings are believed to chant the Vedas. As the mount of divine, He represents the source Who, transports one to the realm of God. He is the king of bird and He represents the five Vayus(air element) present within us, which when controlled can help balance or Chakras and reach high state of consciousness.
