Akhand Ramayana Mahapuja (Hanuman Janmotsav) 1st Apr 2026

Participate in the night-long 24-hour Akhand Ramayan Mahapuja, performed by a dedicated team of 20 Pandits, on the occasion of Hanuman Janmotsav falling on 1st April, 2026 (Wednesday).

Hanuman Janmotsav is a Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Hanuman. It falls on the full moon day (Purnima) of the Hindu month of Chaitra. This day is observed by devotees all over the world with prayers, bhajans, mantra chanting, and the recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa and Akhand Ramayan Paath to honor the deity known for His strength, devotion, and unwavering loyalty to Lord Rama. It is a significant occasion for devotees to seek Hanuman's blessings for strength, courage, and protection.

Akhand Ramayan Path is the non-stop recital of the Ramcharitmanas for 24 hours, which is sung melodiously with traditional instruments. In the Ramayan, each verse (chaupaayee, doha, soratha, and chhand) is so melodious and beautifully composed that it can be said without doubt that nowhere in world literature has such a creation ever been made. The entire text includes seven kaands, i.e., Baalkand, Ayodhyakand, Aranyakand, Kishkindhakand, Sundarkand, Lankakand, and Uttarkand. If you choose the option with Puja Prasad, you will receive a Puja Tokri that includes an energized 14 Mukhi Rudraksha (with Mars Yantra and Coral beads) for protection in your vehicle or home, an energized Ram Parivar frame, a “Jai Shree Ram” shawl, and blessed Prasad. 

Video of the Sankalpa, multiple videos of the puja, mantra chanting, and homa, along with photographs of the Puja rituals, will be shared with you. Please provide your WhatsApp number for smooth coordination. 

Rudra Centre Pandits will perform the Puja as per Vedic rituals, based on your birth details. Kindly mention your full name, current location, Gotra or birth details (date, place, and time) or parent’s name, along with your Sankalpa (wish), in the instructions box. You may include names of your family members in the puja. Videos and pictures will be sent to you while the puja is live.
