Banalingam x Brass Yoni Base Jalhari

This sacred set features a natural translucent white to semi-translucent Banalingam from the Narmada River, placed on an intricately designed brass Yoni Jaldhari with Naag.

Banalingams are formed deep in the Narmada riverbed, where they remain underwater for long periods. They are occasionally exposed when turbulent currents and heavy monsoon rains cause the river to swell. Their natural translucency distinguishes them from the commonly found opaque Narmada Shivlings.

Revered as a Swayambhu form of Bhagwan Shiva, the Banalingam represents Shiva while the Yoni represents Shakti, together symbolising the divine union of Shiva and Shakti. The Jaldhari allows sacred offerings to flow outward during Abhishekam, while the Naag beautifully completes the traditional form.

Ideal for daily Shiva worship, Abhishekam, meditation and placement on a home or temple altar.

Placement: Place the Yoni Jaldhari with its outlet facing North. The West-facing side of the Banalingam is worshipped.
