Budhwar Vrat Katha is dedicated to planet Budh (Mercury). The Vrat is kept on Wednesdays. Budhwar Vrat Katha bestows wisdom and wealth and removes obstacles in the way of success. Budhwar Vrat Katha is usually done for 21 consecutive Wednesdays. On this day devotees wear green colored clothes and after the Vrat Katha worship the Shiva Lingam. Budhwar Vrat Katha also helps to cure skin diseases.
