Ganesh Laxmi on Pedestal Chowki Ashtadhatu Idols

The Ashtadhatu idols of Lord Ganesh and Goddess Laxmi are beautifully crafted and placed on a pedestal. These idols are exquisitely designed and polished for an enhanced appearance. These deities are usually worshipped together in homes, businesses, or workplaces. Lord Ganesh's left lower hand is raised in the Abhaya mudra, which signifies his protection, guidance, and blessings. His lower left hand holds a sweet, while his upper arms hold an axe, a noose and a goad (ankush). On the other hand, Goddess Laxmi looks enchanting with a pleasant expression on her face, adorned with ornaments, and holding a Lotus in each of her upper hands. Her lower right hand is raised in the Abhaya mudra, signifying her blessings and protection, while her lower left hand is in the Varada mudra, which denotes her willingness to grant the wishes of her devotees.   

Lord Ganesh is worshipped for Siddhi (success in undertaking) and buddhi (intelligence). He is the first God worshipped before starting any religious, spiritual, or worldly activity. Lord Ganesh removes all obstacles and blesses with success, wisdom, prosperity, arts, and brings good luck and auspiciousness. Worshipping Him removes malefic effects of planets Mars and Ketu.   

Lakshmi is the Goddess of wealth. As the consort of Lord Vishnu, the preserver, she represents the power of abundance and the goddess of fortune. These are equally important in the preservation process.   

Ashtadhatu is a sacred mixture of 8 metals used for making Traditional Indian Idols and consists of Gold, Silver, Copper, Lead, Zinc, Tin, Iron & Mercury.  

Note: Gold & Silver are present in very small trace amounts.   

Placement: The ideal place to keep a god idol is on a dedicated altar for prominence and respect, in a peaceful corner of the living room for daily worship and contemplation, or on a work desk or near the entrance of home/office for spiritual inspiration.
