Goddess Maha Kaali Brass Idol

  
This divine Maa Kali idol is carved beautifully in heavy shining brass. The devotees have a loving and intimate bond with her despite her fearful appearance. The worshipper becomes a child and Goddess Kali assumes the form of the ever-caring mother. In this idol, Maa Kali is featured in her Chaturbhuj form (four arms) where she has Her right hands in Varad mudra signifying assurance of protection and blessings of charity. In Her left hands She holds a head signifying removal of ego and a Scimitar signifying power. Her unconventional clothing of skirt of human hands is symbolic of merging of all Karmas into nature in the end while the garland of heads signifies a mind devoid of ego to unite with divine for attainment of wisdom. Her outstretched tongue signifies the passion needed to destroy negative vices while Lord Shiva underneath Her feet is symbolic of suppression of death and energy of creation or life.
