Kapur Kachri

Kapur Kachri comes from a small ginger plant also known by its Latin botanical name Hedychium Spicatum and Spiked Ginger Lily. Even though it’s considered a kind of ginger, Kapur Kachri is not a sub-species of Zingiber officinale. It is used in formulation of medicines for various diseases like nausea, bronchial asthma, vomiting, diminished appetite; hiccups, local inflammation, internal injuries, indigestion and poor circulation of blood. Kapur Kachri is also antiseptic, which makes it an ideal herb for mild scalp conditions like dandruff and infections.
