Lord Kartavirya Arjuna was an ardent devotee of Lord Dattatreya. He was the king of the ancient Haihayas kingdom, which was on the banks of Narmada River in the current state of Madhya Pradesh in the Treta Yuga. As per Puranas, Lord Kartavirya Arjuna was manifestation of the Sudarshana Chakra of Lord Vishnu. Lord Kartavirya Arjuna has mention in numerous ancient Vedic scriptures including the oldest of them all, the Rig Veda. He did hard penance of Lord Dattatreya for 10,000 years and accumulated numerous boons and blessings. One of the boons he received was that of 1000 powerful human arms which may appear and disappear at his will. Thus he is also known by the names Sahasrabahu Arjuna or Sahasrarjuna. As per scriptures by worshipping Lord Kartavirya Arjuna one may regain lost wealth. Thus Lord Kartavirya Arjuna Puja and Havan is considered as the best remedy to regain money or possessions which have been stolen, misplaced or lost.
