Mahishasur Mardini Durga Brass Dokra Metal Statue

This unique Maa Durga Idol is intricately crafted from Dhokra metal. It depicts the Mahishasur Mardini form of Maa, who stands on a pedestal with a meticulously crafted arch. She holds weapons like Trishul, Sudarshan chakra, Vajra, Conch, Spear, Axe, and Snake. She is standing on a lion with one foot on the defeated demon Mahishasur. 

Dhokra metal craft is among the oldest traditional metal casting techniques in India, practiced for over 4,000 years. This craft dates back to the prehistoric times of the Harappa and Mohenjodaro Civilizations.

Maa Durga was formed by combining the powers of Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Brahma to defeat the notorious demon Mahishasura, who had terrorized Heaven and Earth.
