Idol of Goddess Durga, the Adi Parashakti (First Supreme-Power) is artistically crafted in brass. She is depicted seated on a Tiger, beautifully clad in sari and jewels representing Her sovereignty. She has Her lower right hand in Abhayam mudra, the gesture of assurance of protection from perils and negative energies. Her upper arms are holding a Lotus representing awakening of spiritual consciousness, a sword representing intelligence for discrimination to overcome negativity and a discus representing righteousness needed to attain victory.
