This charming idol of Maa Tuljabhavani crafted in shining brass beautifully replicates the idol of Tulabhavani temple in Tuljapur. Beautifully crafted in Hemadpanthi style by traditional artisans, Goddess Tuljabhavani is portrayed as adorning a medieval crown with strings of pearls dangling on right side of the crown. She is decorated with traditionally designed sari and decked with extravagant jewels. Her feet adorned with jewels are visible. The serenity and compassion is vivid on Goddess face, reflecting the beautiful craftsmanship of the artisan. The brilliant shine and neat carving add to the charm of the divine idol. Goddess Tuljabhavani is one of the divine forms of Goddess Durga. The Tuljapur temple is believed to be the place where the face of Goddess Sati had fallen and hence the face of the temple Goddess is decorated with sari and ornaments. Bhavani means the Goddess Who bestows salvation. Goddess Tuljabhavani is worshiped for protection and relief from sorrow, sufferings and illness and for blessings of longevity and spiritual growth. You can place the divine idol in your puja altar, living area, work or study desk for Her divine grace.
