Nilofar

Nilofar also known as NeelKamal or water lily is an aquatic flowering plant found in Kashmir. It is also found in Europe, Western Asia and Northern Africa. Nilofar generally has a calming and sedative effect upon the nervous system making them useful in the treatment of insomnia, anxiety and similar disorders. They are useful in asthma, bronchitis, cough and tuberculosis. It is also used for treatment of oedema and piles.
