Saraswati on Lotus Ashtadhatu Idol

This beautiful idol of Maa Saraswati is made from Ashtadhatu and features the Goddess sitting on a blooming lotus in Padmasana. She holds Her musical instrument, the Veena, in both Her lower arms, while in Her upper arms She holds the Vedas and a Japamala. Maa Saraswati wears a beautifully crafted crown with a radiating halo behind Her head, and a swan is seated at Her feet. With a blissful expression on Her face and intricate craftsmanship, this Saraswati idol in Ashtadhatu exudes gracefulness. 

Maa Saraswati is the Goddess of education, knowledge, learning, music, fine arts, creativity, wisdom, and spiritual understanding. She is also known as 'Vaak' Devi, the Goddess of speech, and can be invoked by those who have hesitancy in verbal communication or those who want to enhance their power of speech.
