Worship the Navadurgas by participating in Navratri Mahapuja on the occasion of Sharad Navratri (3rd to 12th October 2024)

Let us pray to the Divine Mother in all Her nine Shakti forms during the 10-day Navratri Mahapuja that culminates in the Dussehra (Vijayadashami) festival and seek the blessings of power, health, wealth, and success.

The Navratri Mahapuja is an elaborate Puja and Yajna that invokes and worships Maa Durga in her nine incarnations. The nine forms are: Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandmata, Katyani, Kalratri, Mahagauri, and Siddhidatri.

On the first day, Ghat Sthapana is done, wherein a pot is installed with Navdhanya, or nine grains, and they sprout during this period, signifying fertility and abundance to the devotees. On the first three days, Kali, the aspect that destroys all ignorance, is worshipped. The next three days are for her creative aspect, or Lakshmi, and the last three days are for her knowledge aspect, which is Saraswati. The significance of this sequence of worship is that she first destroys the evil propensities that lurk in the mind, then implants therein the Devi Sampat, or divine qualities conducive to spiritual enfoldment, and then bestows true knowledge on the devotee.

Maa Durga is Goddess Shakti, Para Brahman, or Supreme Consciousness to devotees, and Navratri is the best time of year to seek Her Divine blessings. Maa Durga appeared when Bhagavan Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva combined their powers to destroy the evil demon Mahishasura. She possessed the power of the Holy Trinity and weapons from various gods. She engaged the buffalo demon in a ten-day battle, during which she assumed various forms; on the tenth day, she mounted him and killed him. According to legend, before defeating the demon king Ravana, Bhagavan Ram worshipped the Goddess for nine days. Dussehra and Vijayadashami, which represent the triumph of good over evil, are celebrated on the tenth day.

Participate in Navratri Mahapuja for spiritual growth and positivity, and seek the blessings of good health, protection, wealth, power, prosperity, and success.

Benefits:

  • Blessings of health, wealth and prosperity.
  • Protection and strength to face all obstacles with success.
  • Expansion in all areas including spiritual growth.
  • Divine grace and blessings of Maa Durga.

This is a Group Puja done along with other Yajaman.
