What is Tripursundari Yantra?

Yantras are intricate and powerful geometric diagrams that hold profound significance in various cultures and traditions. They are geometric representations of specific Deities/Energies like how Mantras are audio/verbal representations of different Gods. Yantras act as channels to invoke the blessings and qualities of these specific deities. Tripursundari Yantra outputs strong energies of prosperity and happiness in all spheres of life. It is recommended for single women who wish to marry and his complex and mystical geometry attracts abundance and harmony in all the spheres of life and it has the power to bestow immense wealth to its worshiper. This yantra helps successfully in accomplishing any task, provides protection and brings peace. It bestows overall success and unlimited bliss.

The 2-dimensional diagram of Tripursundari Yantra comprises of 9 interlocked triangles in which 4 point upwards representing Bhagawan Shiva (Purusha/Divine Masculine) & 5 downward Triangles representing Shakti emanating from a Bindu (Centre Point) which symbolizes the creation and evolution of the Universe. In total there are 43 triangles created from the 9 interlocking triangles. The three points of the triangle represent Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh which derive their energy from Shakti. These triangles are surrounded by a layer of 8 Lotus Petals representing the 8 Siddhis (Powers) namely Anima, Laghima, Garima, Mahima, Easatva, Vasatva, Praakamya which is further surrounded by 16 petals representing the 10 sense organs of perception namely Smell, Taste, Sight, Touch, Hear which are inward senses and Initiation, Creation, Action, Feeling, Speaking which are outward senses, 5 petals symbolize the elements Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether, and the last petal represents the mind’s ability which integrates all of these for our existence. The three Circles surrounding the Petals represent the Trigunas, Sattva, Rajas & Tamas. The 4 gates surrounding the Tripursundari Yantra represent the 4 Cardinal Directions. On the right side of the yantra there is a carved image of Tripursundari Devi and Her sacred mantras are engraved at the top and bottom of this splendorous yantra.

Mahadevi Tripura Sundari is chiefly revered in Shaktism, the Goddess-oriented sect of Hinduism. She is highly respected and praised in several Shakta texts with Lalita Sahasranama being a renowned one. She is also known to be the representation of Supreme Beauty. Indeed, she is said to be only 16 years old and therefore, is also just referred to as Shodashi, the sixteen-year-old. Tripura Sundari is one of the several manifestations of the divine Shakti, and hence She is the consort of Bhagawan Shiva.

The Tripursundari Yantra is a divine powerhouse of energy and magnetic forces, the source of supreme energy. The energy emitted by the Tripursundari Yantra destroys all negative and undesirable energies in the area where it is installed and replaces them with positive vibrations. The Tripursundari Yantra possesses unfathomable mystic powers that can typically be experienced in a brief amount of time. How to Meditate on Tripursundari Yantra? (Visualization Technique)

Meditating on the Tripursundari Yantra is the most powerful way to achieve union with the diagram. Achieving the union is said to reveal all secrets of the world and one is supposed to gain access to knowledge of higher realms. In an oversimplified sense one must recreate the Tripursundari Yantra diagram accurately in the mind and visualize it. This visualization technique may sound simple but is quite tough to achieve, one must spend years of sadhana just to create an accurate image of the diagram in their head.

One can start by sitting in a comfortable posture facing east with an accurate image of Tripursundari Yantra at their Eye Level.

Perform Pranayama Anolom Vilom (Alternating nostril breaths) 10 times & meditate to purify your mind and thoughts.

Start by focusing on the Centre Point Bindu with your gaze going inward to outward from the Bindu to the 1st Layer of Triangle to 2nd Layer of Triangles (Set of 6) to 3rd Layer of Triangles (Set of 10) to 4th Layer of Triangles (Set of 10) to 5th Layer of Triangles (Set of 14) to 8 Petals to 16 Petals to Circle Border to the Outermost Gate. These are the Steps or Avaran of Tripursundari Yantra.

Then your gaze should go from the Outermost Gate back to the Bindu.

Try to avoid blinking your eyes during this process. You can do this for multiple rounds for 30 minutes.

After you can focus with intent for at least 30 minutes (the stamina to just focus may take quite some time to develop) close your eyes and try to recreate the image of the Tripursundari Yantra Diagram accurately

Once you can create and sustain an accurate image of Tripursundari Yantra in your mind try to focus one by one on the 9 Steps mentioned above and go from Bindu to Outermost gate & Back to Bindu however all this needs to be done in your mind in meditation with your eyes closed

This visualization technique takes many years to master and bless the Sadhak with material success as well as spiritual augmentation.
