Parad Shivlinga is solidified form of Mercury prepared after undergoing 8 stages of purification as per Parad Samhita. Purified and solidified alchemical Parad (mercury) is considered the purest and most auspicious of all minerals and metals. Shivling personifies Lord Shiva in form of Lingam and Goddess Shakti in form of Yoni base. Linga signifies that the creation is affected by the union of Prakriti and Purusha, the male and the female powers of Nature. It also signifies Satya, Jnana, and Ananta Truth, Knowledge, and Infinity.
