Vishwakarma Chalisa Paath

Vishwakarma Chalisa is a devotional hymn of 40 verses dedicated to Lord Vishwakarma, the divine architect of the Gods. Reciting the Vishwakarma Chalisa is one of the best ways to worship and seek the blessings of Lord Vishwakarma. He is revered by architects, engineers, mechanics, sculptors, craftsmen, manufacturers, builders and all those associated with machinery, tools, construction and creativity. Lord Vishwakarma is regarded as the son of Vastudev and Angirasi and a descendant of Lord Brahma. According to ancient scriptures, Lord Vishwakarma built Heaven in Satyuga, Lanka in Treta Yuga, Dwarka in Dwapar Yuga and the magnificent cities of Hastinapur and Indraprastha. He is also believed to have created the Pushpak Vimana and divine weapons such as Lord Indra’s Vajra and Lord Krishna’s Sudarshan Chakra. Lord Vishwakarma imparted the sacred science of Vastu Shastra for the welfare of humanity.
