Balarishta Yog is a malefic Yog which indicates health issues and misfortunes in childhood and also short life or early death in the Kundli. Balarishta Yoga means short life yoga. The word Bal means child and arishta means affliction, thus Balarishta refers to certain placements and combinations of planets with an adverse effect on the wellbeing of children.
