After every Puja* we perform, we send Puja Tokri that contains Energised Yantra, 7 Mukhi Rudraksha, Silver Tabeez, Mauli/Thread, Prasad, Puja Coin, Tilak, Betel Nut and Prosperity Bowl.
No Puja Tokri is sent in case of these Pujas: Narayan Nag Bali, Shradh Puja, Pitru Dosh Nivaran Puja, Puja for peace of departed soul, Tripindi Shradh, Moksh Prapti Puja, Garuda Puran Recitation, Brahmin Bhoj, Charity Services and Donation Services (which includes Cow; Goat; Vrash / Bull Donation) and Gau and animal Sewa services.
In case of Tirupati Balaji Puja, we send a brass idol of Lord Tirupati Balaji instead of a blessed Yantra along with the before mentioned items.
Below mentioned is the significance of each item sent in Puja Tokri
1. Energised Yantra:
A Yantra is a geometric representation of a deity. This yantra can be kept in your purse, wallet, laptop bag, drawer, cash box, or puja altar. The best direction for the yantra is East facing West.
2. 7 Mukhi Rudraksha:
The 7 mukhi blesses the yajman with abundance. It can be worn as a pendant for best results.
3. Silver Tabeez:
This amulet contains a mantra, bhasma homa, and chirmi beads for protection and empowerment.
4. Mauli/Thread:
This energised holy thread can be tied on the right hand for a few days to imbibe the energy of the puja.
5. Prasad:
A sweet offering of the puja to be consumed by the yajman/participant.
6. Puja Coin:
A Puja coin of Ganesh, Laxmi, and Saraswati will be sent, which can be kept in your purse, wallet, laptop bag, drawer, cash box, or puja altar. This coin blesses the yajman/participant with prosperity and luck.
7. Tilak:
This fragrant tilak can be applied on the forehead, yantra, or deity idols during puja rituals.
8. Betel Nut:
A Betel Nut decorated with a holy thread will be sent for good luck as a symbol of Lord Ganesh. It can be kept in the prayer altar or cash box.
9. Prosperity Bowl:
A Prosperity Bowl consisting of gomati chakra, cowry, sriphal, and lotus seeds to be kept in the cash box, wallet, or money lockers for financial prosperity.
