He has raised His right hand in Abhyam mudra and left hand in Varad mudra and upper arms are seen holding a rope and mace in upper arms. Brishaspati is one of the Navagraha (nine astrological planets) who governs the planet Jupiter. He is also revered as the Guru of Devas and governs over spiritual values, knowledge, finances and abundance.
