Natural Loban Benzoin Dhoop Khada

Dhoop Khada are raw Benzoin crystals that are the dried out gum from the Styrax Benzoin tree which is native to Indonesia. Fresh resin is wet and sticky, similar to other tree sap. Over time that dries out to form crystals that are hard to the touch and almost stone-like. This natural Benzoin crystal can be ground and used to make incense, perfumes or used to form a tincture or macerated oil. 

Benzoin resin relieves nervous tensions and headaches and has long been considered as a purifier of the surrounding atmosphere. It removes stuffy odours. It has been used for hundreds of years as it has a sweet balsamic, vanilla-like aroma that is soothing and comforting.
