Gadadhari Golden Sudarshan Shaligram Shila

A lustrous Shaligram Shila with well defined Chakra markings and Golden patches on the surface, is named Gadadhari Golden Sudarshan Shaligram Shila, which is auspicious and favourable for the dwelling and family members. The Shaligram Shila represents Lord Vishnu and is a Swayambhu(self manifested) stone which marks the presence of God in it. Lord Vishnu is the preserver and protector of the Universe. It has high vibration frequency which clears negative energies, Vastu Doshas and keeps the space positively charged. Gadadhari refers to Lord Vishnu who holds the Gada or Mace as one of His weapons. Sudarshan is the name of Lord Vishnu\'s Chakra, discus weapon, which is held in one of His hands and is also one of His emblems. Both the weapons denote His protection for His devotees. The Shaligram Shila bestows the six virtues of life, which are, creation of wealth, good health, righteous living, worldly pleasures, spiritual augmentation and protection from evil energies, dangers, harm etc.

Found only in the Kali Gandaki river, Nepal, the Shaligram Shala has natural spiral, Chakra, markings which resemble the Sudarshan Chakra. Lord Shiva praises the Shaligram Shila in the Shiv Puran by mentioning that merely seeing the sacred stone and worshipping it is equivalent to the fruits earned by worshipping a thousand Shivinga.
