Gau Gayatri Japa Yagna is conducted to worship and revere Goddess Gayatri and Gau Mata as Maa Kamdhenu. Ancient sages have glorified Kamdhenu as mother of all cows and stated that all Gods reside in the body of Kamdhenu and that Her four legs are the four Vedas and Her eyes as the Sun and Moon.

By conducting the Gau Gayatri Japa Yagna the person is blessed with knowledge, intellect, achieves spiritual growth and freedom from all miseries and misfortunes.

Cows are also revered as Mother Earth or Bhoomi Devi. Goddess Kamdhenu also symbolizes prosperity. It is stated in the ancient Scriptures that there are no greater riches than owning a cow.

Gau Gayatri Japa Yagna blesses with health, wealth, prosperity and success.
