Giridhari Krishna Shaligram Shila

Giridhari Krishna Shaligram Shila is a sacred stone that depicts Shri Krishna raising the Govardhan Parvat. This Shaligram is naturally created like a mountain, symbolising the event when Shri Krishna raised Govardhan Hill to shelter Vrindavan's residents from Lord Indra's terrible rains. This Shaligram symbolizes Lord Krishna's Giridhari form with its natural curves and ridges that resemble hills. 

The Giridhari Krishna Shaligram carried Shri Krishna's protecting and nurturing energy and reminded His believers of His capacity to shield them from life's challenges. Like Shri Krishna protected Vrindavan's people, worshipping this Shaligram is said to provide power, bravery, and protection. It is also a strong symbol of heavenly favor, urging devotees to stay humble and trust and submit to the almighty. This Shaligram gives protection, spiritual upliftment, and heavenly benefits to the family. 

The Shaligram Shila represents Bhagawan Vishnu and is a self-manifested stone found in the beds and banks of Kali Gandaki River, Nepal. The worship of Shaligram focuses on six virtues of life which includes creation of wealth, good health, world and spiritual pleasures, spiritual progress, protection and righteous living.

Regular worship of the Shaligram Shila is done by performing Abhishek, with water, Tulsi leaves and a mixture of cow milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar.
