This Gomukhi bag made of cotton is used to aid your mantra chanting practice while using a mala. It has the sacred mantra 'Hare Om' printed on it and string to hang the bag around neck. The mala is kept in the bag while moving the beads with each mantra Japa (chant). The bag is very helpful for regular mantra chanting practice at home and also while travelling.

A 'gomukhi' is a special cover made in the shape of a cow's mouth. It is mentioned in our ancient texts that while chanting mantras on a rosary it should always be kept inside the gomukhi bag.
