Indra Puja and Yajna

Indra Puja is performed to invoke the blessings of Lord Indra, the King of Devas and the ruler of Swarga Loka. In Vedic tradition, Lord Indra is worshipped as the deity of rain (Varsha), thunder, strength, courage, protection, victory, and divine authority. He is also known as a powerful guardian of Dharma, who protects the righteous and removes negative forces.    

Indra Puja & Yajna are especially performed to seek timely rainfall, prosperity, agricultural abundance, stability, and success in important undertakings. This is an individual Puja (you may do puja on individual name or include your near and dear ones in the puja).
