This divine idol features Karumaari Devi also known Karumaari Amam in brass that gives it a bright golden appearance. Goddess Karumaari in this idol is featured seated in Lalitasana on a pedestal. She is adorning a sari and decked in jewels. She wears a crown with blaze surrounding it. Multiple hooded serpent is featured atop Her crown. She is seen holding a sword and bowl of Kumkum in Her lower hands and a trident and Damru in upper hands. Karumaari Devi is worshipped as the Goddess of Rain. She is embodiment of sacrifice, mercy and motherly love and reins over fine arts. The Sunday of all the week is dedicated to the Goddess.
