Krishna Mor Pankh Paduka Kurma Shaligram Shila

This Shaligram Shila with a lovely shape and a silver colour path, is named Krishna Mor Pankh Kurma Shaligram shila. The Shaligram shila represents Lord Vishnu and is meritorious to worship at home. Lord Krishna is the eighth Avatar of Lord Vishnu and highly revered and popular. He blesses devotees with joy, love, happiness, urges to walk in the path of Dharma and more. The Mor Pankh or Peacock feather is a favourite adornment of Shri Krishna and is mostly seen on His crown. As per one of the stories, once the head of the Peacocks had offered some of His attractive feathers to Lord Krishna as ‘Gurudakshina’ and since then, Lord Krishna wears them. The most precious aspect of the Peacocks is their beautiful plume and the head of Peacocks wanted to thank and venerate Lord Krishna with the same. Paduka denotes the impression of Lord Krishna\'s Lotus feet. Kurma is the Tortosie Avatar of Lord Vishnu who offered His back as the sturdy base for Mount Mandara, the Churning stick, during the legendary Samudra Manthan (churning of the Celestial Milky Ocean).
