This idol portraying Maa Durga as Mahishasura Mardini is creatively crafted in high polished brass. Elevated on a pedestal, Goddess decked in jewels is seen standing and posing to kill the demon Mahishasura, who is seen emerging from a buffalo. Goddess holds a trident in Her lower hands while Her multiple upper arms are seen at the back, each holding a weapon. Her Mount, the Lion is seen in attacking pose to attack the demon. This marvelously designed idol makes a divine powerful décor that can be placed in your living area, office and puja room. Goddess Durga is also known as Mahishasura Mardini, since She slayed the demon Mahishasura in Her Chandi form signifying triumph of positivity over negative forces.
