The Maa Kali idol is carved beautifully in heavy shining brass. It has a beautiful arch that shows her fury that transforms into realisation when she sees her consort Shiva under her feet. The devotees have a very loving and intimate bond with her in spite of her fearful appearance. The worshipper becomes a child and Goddess Kali assumes the form of the ever-caring mother. During one of her battles with the evil forces, Goddess Kali was so involved in the killing spree that she got carried away and began destroying everything in sight. To stop her, Lord Shiva threw himself under her feet. Shocked at this sight, Kali stuck out her tongue in astonishment, and put an end to the homicidal rampage.
It is ideally placed at the puja altar at your home.
