This exquisite Shaligram Shila has a distinct and exquisite Chakra marking and is known as the Maha Sudarshan Shaligram Shila. Since ancient times the Shaligram Shila has been worshipped ardently as it represents Lord Vishnu. Sudarshan is the name of Lord Vishnu’s powerful Chakra (disc like weapon) which can destroy anything and is one of the emblems of the Lord. It signifies Lord Vishnu’s protection for devotees too.
