Meditating Shiva Brass Murti

This divine idol of Lord Shiva seated in yogic posture handcrafted in brass looks charming with sophisticated craftsmanship and neat finish. In this Idol, Lord Shiva is portrayed as seated in Sukhasana pose on a tiger's skin. His lower right hand is raised in blessing mudra and His lower left hand is holding a Kamandalu (pot). He is holding a Trident attached with Damru and a Damru in His upper arms. His attendant, Nandi the bull is seated calmly besides Him while a snake coils around His neck. Lord Shiva is bedecked with jewels made of Rudraksha and a crescent moon adorns His matted hair and the River Ganga flows from it. His eyes are partially closed and the calmness on His face is vivid. The intricate carving of Third eye on Lord Shiva's forehead, hair and clothing looks lifelike. Lord Shiva symbolises pure consciousness and He is worshipped for blessings of prosperity, harmony, peace and spiritual progress.
