Parashuram Chalisa Paath

Lord Parashuram Chalisa is a devotional hymn of 40 verses dedicated to Lord Parashuram, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Reciting the Lord Parashuram Chalisa is one of the best ways to worship and revere Lord Parashuram. Lord Parashuram is also known by many other names such as Rambhadra, Bhargava, Bhrigupati among others. The name Parashuram means ‘Rama with an axe’. Lord Parashuram was a Brahman yet had attributes of a Kshatriya; He was a Sage as well as a warrior. Lord Parashuram is one of the Chiranjeevis in Hindu Dharma, till today Mahendragiri is considered as the abode of Lord Parashurama. Lord Parashurama is worshipped for power, success and victory.
