Parshuram Shaligram Shila - III

The Parshuram Shaligram Shila has a triangular form with a smooth central body and naturally carved ridges spreading outward along its curved edge. These ridges appear like the sharp, etched lines of a blade, while the broad triangular shape closely resembles the head of an axe. The dark, glossy surface adds to its fierce and commanding presence, reflecting the divine weapon carried by Lord Parashuram. The way the shila is naturally cut and patterned, it distinctly mirrors the battle-axe (Parshu) that Parashuram is traditionally depicted with.
The name Parshuram Shaligram is justified as the markings on this sacred stone resemble Parashuram’s divine axe, a symbol of power, justice, and the destruction of unrighteousness. Just as Parashuram wielded His axe to restore dharma and defeat tyranny, the ridged blade-like design of the shila represents strength, courage, and divine justice.
