Shani Pradosh is a powerful vrat and puja observed when Pradosh Kaal (the 1.5-hour period around sunset) falls on a Saturday—the day ruled by Lord Shani (Saturn). This special alignment occurs only a few times a year and is considered one of the most potent occasions to seek relief from Saturn's afflictions, especially Shani Dosha, Sade Sati, and Dhaiya. On this day, both Lord Shiva and Lord Shani are worshipped with great devotion to remove obstacles, cleanse karmas, and invite divine blessings.

Why Shiva is Worshipped on Shani Pradosh

Pradosh is traditionally associated with Bhagwan Shiva, the compassionate destroyer of sins and karmic burdens. Rudrabhishek, the sacred bathing of the Shivling with various offerings, is performed to invoke Lord Shiva’s grace and protection. On Shani Pradosh, this worship becomes especially powerful, as Shiva is considered the Guru of Shani Dev and can temper Saturn’s intense karmic lessons with divine compassion.

Saturn (Shani) is a slow-moving planet that brings results only through discipline, endurance, and karmic purification. Puja Tokri consisting of energized Items will be shipped to the Yajman/Participant on their given address.
