This powerful idol features Lord Narayan seated with Goddess Laxmi on Garuda creatively made in powerful Shaligram stone. In this idol, Garud - the Mount of Narayan is seen at base posing in Skandasana with his wings expanded and supporting Lord Narayan with His rear hands, while Goddess Laxmi is seated on left lap of Lord Narayan. Lord Vishnu has both His palms placed together facing downwards while He holds discus, conch, mace and Lotus in His upper arms. Goddess Laxmi has Her right hand raised in blessing pose and holds Lotuses and weapons in Her upper arms. The exotic black colour and natural coarse texture gives the divine idol an antique appeal.
