Srinivasa Balaji

Lord Venkateshwara, the presiding deity Tirumala Venkateshwara temple is artistically crafted in heavy shining brass. In this idol, Lord Srinivasa is depicted standing on a dais, richly decked in rich jewels and garlands signifying prosperity. He is adorning a majestic crown and an Urdhva Pundra tilak on His forehead. His bejeweled lower right hand is in Varada mudra, the boon conferring gesture while His lower left palm is in Katya Vilambita mudra, signifying protection from Maya (worldly illusion). In each of His upper arm, He holds a conch and a discus. Lord Venkateshwara, also known as Srinivasa is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He is worshiped for removal of miseries, pains and hardships and fulfillment of desires. You may place the idols in your puja room, living area, office or near entrance for blessings of health, fortune and growth.
