Sudarshan Kuber Shaligram Shila

The Shaligram Shila represents Lord Vishnu, the preserver and protector of the Universe, and is highly meritorious to be worshipped at home. Its name, Sudarshan Kuber Shaligram Shila because of its clear markings. Sudarshan is the name of the Chakra, a discus weapon, which Lord Vishnu holds in one of His four hands. The Sudarshan Chakra can travel to anywhere in the Universe in seconds and destroy anything or anybody if it poses a threat. Lord Kubera is worshipped as the God of Wealth and is known as the Treasurer of Gods who showers riches on those who worship Him with utmost devotion. 

The self- manifested Shaligram shila is found in the banks of Kali Gandaki River, Nepal. Worshipping the Shaligram shila brings the blessings of good health, wealth, prosperity, righteous living, material comfort, spiritual growth, success, supreme protection, peace, abundance, harmonious and happy family life. 

It is worshipped by performing the sacred bathing, Abhishek, with water and Tulsi leaves and a mixture of Cow Milk, Curd, Ghee, Honey and Sugar. When worshipped with dedication, Lord Vishnu liberates devotees from the cycle of birth and death.
