Surya Dev Chalisa is a devotional hymn of 40 verses dedicated to Lord Surya Dev. Surya Dev Chalisa Paath is done to nullify the malefic effects of Surya Dosha or a weakly placed Surya and to enhance its positive impacts in an individual’s Birth Chart (Horoscope). Surya Dosha in a Kundli occurs when Surya occupies unsuitable houses in conjunction with other Planets.
