Tilakdhari Narmada Shiva Lingam

Narmada lingam in dark brown colour with a saffron tilak marking on the top, takes on the form of Shiva who is applied Chandan and Saffron Tilak on His forehead. Found on banks of the Narmada River, it is naturally rolled in a lingam shape due to the river flow and is considered very auspicious for worship by Shiva devotees.

The Black Yoni base is made from a single piece Black Marble, handcrafted with traditional designs on the Yoni. A Snake is coiled around the Lingam at the place where it sits on the Yoni and another Snake is on the outlet of the Yoni. The Lingam and Yoni represents Lord Shiva and Shakti respectively. This union of Shiva and Shakti is the creative force from which everything is created and will ultimately dissolve.

The Narmada Lingam is meant to be worshipped by householders. The Tilakdhari Shiva Lingam when worshipped with pure intentions creates high vibration in the space, brings harmony, love and unity among family members, bestows good health, peace, prosperity, provides all round protection and blesses with fulfilment of wishes.

The Shivalingam is worshipped by performing Abhishekham while chanting Lord Shiva Mantras. It is ideal to install the Shivalingam with the Yoni facing the North direction and then worshipping the West face.
