This divine Ganesha idol made in shining brass beautifully replicates the renowned Ganesh idol of Siddhivinayaka Mahaganapati Temple in Titwala. With fine finish and carving, the idol features Lord Ganesha seated on a beautifully designed dais. He is decked with jewels and is holding rosary and sweet in lower palms and holding Goad and fly-whisk in His upper arms. Siddhivinayaka MahaGanapati of Titwala is an epitome of fortune, happiness, peace, unity and prosperity. He is specially worshipped by married couples to resolve marital discord and help a person get married to desired suitor. Legends: Idol of Siddhivinayaka Mahaganapati of Titwala was consecrated by Sage Kanva. He suggested Shakuntala to worship the idol of Lord Ganesh to pacify the curse of sage Durvasa and help her unite and get married with King Dushyant after long period of separation. The current temple of Titwala was re-consecrated by Peshwas.
