Asvatha Diya (Oil Lamp)

This is a pretty Asvatha Diya (oil lamp) made of brass. It is a set well crafted and moulded Asvatha/ Peepal leaves, perched on a stand.

The Asvatha or Peepal tree is considered holy and has many spiritual qualities. In the Rig Veda, it is mentioned as a God and in Atharva Veda, it is described as the home of all Gods. 

This auspicious Asvatha Diya can be lit at the puja alter while worshipping or can be used for aarti. It can be a decoration piece and can be used as a gift item.
