Baochi

Baochi (also called Bakuchi in Sanskrit/Babchi) is a herbal plant which is endowed with several therapeutic properties, used in Ayurvedic medicines, Homeopathic tinctures and other natural healing process. The Scientific name of Baochi is Psoralea Corylifolia and the seeds of the plant are potent in healing skin problems like leucoderma, vitiligo, de-pigmentation of skin and other skin ailments. Baochi is an important Havan samagri in Vedic Puja rituals. Baochi or Bakuchi seeds have the quality of purifying air, which adds value to the smoke emitted during Havan, along with the effect of other Havan samagri. The seeds are powdered and used for Havan.
