In an oversimplified sense one must recreate the Dikdosh Nashak Yantra diagram accurately in the mind and visualize it. Start by focusing on the Centre Point Bindu with your gaze going inward to outward from the Bindu to the 1^st Layer of the Square with its 9x8 smaller squares to the 2^nd Layer of the Circle to the 3^rd Layer of upwardly pointed Square to the 4^th Layer of the tilted Square which is interlocked with the previous, to the 5^th Layer of Lines radiating in all directions around the Squares to the 6^th Layer of the Circle to the 7^th Layer of the Square in the outermost part with etched mantras enclosing the whole diagram. These are the steps or Avaran of Dikdosh Nashak yantra.

Then your gaze should go from the Outermost Gate back to the Bindu. 

Try to avoid blinking your eyes during this process. You can do this for multiple rounds for 30 minutes.

After you can focus with intent for at least 30 minutes (the stamina to just focus may take quite some time to develop) close your eyes and try to recreate the image of the Dikdosh Nashak Yantra Diagram accurately.
