One of the most significant and fascinating festivals of India is Dussehra. ‘Vijaya dashmi’ is the other name of this festival It is the celebration of the good over the bad forces and is celebrated on the 10th day after a 9 day festival where Goddess Durga in Her 9 different forms is worshipped. On this day Lord Rama destroyed Ravana who abducted his wife and Goddess Durga destroyed the demon Mahishasura. Dussehra puja is an integral part of this auspicious occasion. Flowers, dry fruits, fresh fruits, jaggery, radish, rice, incense sticks, limestone, cow dung, etc. are some of the most important ingredients of the entire rituals of puja. People perform the pujas in order to seek the blessings of the almighty for happiness, health, wealth , protection and prosperity. It is also a custom to worship vehicles, machines, weapons, pens and other instruments that are a symbol of power. Vijaya Dashami is the day which guarantees success in any venture that is taken up; hence, lot of people buy a house or car or start a new project on Vijaya Dashami. Puja service includes:
